The Walk at COP 26 (Associate Director)

As an associate artist for Good Chance, Connie was the associate director on a series of events following Little Amal, the giant puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee, meeting activists from the countries through which she has walked during a four-month, 8,000km (4,970-mile) journey from the Syrian border.

At COP26 in November 2021 Little Amal discovered new realities about the world by meeting changemakers from many of the countries she has visited.

Little Amal at COP26 was produced by The Walk Productions and Good Chance Theatre in partnership with: The Bowling Green PollokshieldsThe Pollokshields Trust, Govanhill Baths, Helen Kyle, Stage Scotland, Lyn Gardner and many more partners and supporters.  The Associate Director was Connie Treves and the Associate Producer was Emily Webb.
